First Impressions Theatre is producing and casting the musical, Funny Girl.

The semi-biographical plot is based on the life and career of Broadway star, film actress, and comedian Fanny Brice, featuring her stormy relationship with entrepreneur and gambler Nick Arnstein.

Performance dates: February 13 to March 7, 2020

Nick Arnstein (Lead): Male, 30–59

bari-tenor, suave gambler, can lose or make a fortune without ever losing his cool.

Eddie Ryan (Supporting): Male, 18+

Bari-tenor, theatre choreographer, lives to dance, Fanny’s friend who is secretly in love with her, ability to tap.

MALE Ensemble:  very busy featured singing and dancing actors all with multiple featured singing and speaking parts…We will consider cross casting for those who are interested.

What to prepare:

1 up-tempo Broadway song (1 minute or so)

1 comedic Monologue (1 minute or so)

Come prepared to move and play 😊

If you have a headshot and resume, great, if you don’t, it’s all good, we still want to meet as many cool folks as we can. Open to all genders and ethnicities. Non-equity.
