Veteran actors Damon Calderwood and Gordon Roberts are teaming up with Equity director Gerry McKay and First Impressions Theatre to bring the iconic Canadian musical “Billy Bishop Goes To War”

This is a very special event as it is a unique professional production celebrating the 25th Anniversary of First Impressions Theatre that has been providing high quality theatre to audiences for a quarter century in the cosy Deep Cove theatre.

This production also celebrates the 30th anniversary of the first performance of this “Governor General’s Award for Drama” winner on November 3rd, 1978 at the Vancouver East Cultural Centre.

Well known Vancouver actor Damon Calderwood will star as the feisty Canadian World War I flying ace Billy Bishop, first realised by Eric Peterson, while Gordon Roberts will perform the role of Narrator/piano player that John Gray made famous oh, so many years ago.
